This build is for a Soldier with heavy emphasis on co-op and the Soldier's turret.

Medic Tree:
5 Aid Station
5 Cauterize

Support Tree:
5 Stockpile
5 Barrage
5 Deploy

Infantry Tree:
5 Sentry
5 Impact
5 Scattershot/Metal Storm
5 Guided Missile

The healing from the Medic tree is very helpful, especially in a co-op game. Aid Station makes your turret heal you and your partner(s), as long as you or they stand close to the turret. This way, you don't have to waste medkits as often, or bother with health regen shields. Cauterize is nice, so your partner can act as a meatshield and you can heal him up. What I like to do with Cauterize is have one weapon just be a dedicated healer gun, like some random gun that Soldiers don't use, like an SMG, pistol, or something. Eridian guns are nice as dedicated healing guns, because they have infinite ammo. You cannot use Cauterize on yourself; shooting a rocket or throwing a grenade at the floor will just damage or kill you. I opted to skip the rest of this tree because I needed skill points elsewhere, and Revive doesn't work 100% of the time.

The Support tree is nothing fancy, just extra ammo and improving your turret. Deploy especially helps, as it cuts the cooldown time to about 30 seconds.

The Infantry tree also buffs up your turret, and improves your general combat abilities. I purposefully left it less intensive on specific weapons so you can use whichever guns you feel like; I've been playing around with rocket launchers and Eridian guns. The splash damage off of a rocket can actually heal your buddies with Cauterize.
